Buddha Bowl

The Buddha Bowl is now a very popular and simple dish. 

It’s simply a bowl with a variety of spices, sauces, and condiments. You can build a buddha bowl to your own liking. It’s important to fill your bowl with a balance of colorful greens, grains, vegetables, protein-rich foods and some nuts, seeds, seasonings, or sauces for color, pop, spice, and crunch. 

  • Grains: brown rice, quinoa, or millet

  • Vegetables: steamed, sauteed, roasted or grilled

  • Pickles: kimchi, sauerkraut

  • Protein: cooked beans or legumes, tofu or tempeh
