• Cucumber, Kale, Ginger, and Apple Juice•
Serves 4:
4 cups lightly packed lacinato kale (stems are okay here)
2 English or hothouse cucumbers
2 apples, such as Pink Lady or Honeycrisp, cut into chunks
1/2 small fennel bulb, cut into chunks
1/4 cup packed cilantro leaves and small stems
1/2 lemon, peel removed
1 piece of fresh ginger, about 1/2 inch thick
Directions:
Cut all the ingredients to fit your juicer and feed them in one by one, inserting the juiciest foods first. Extract the juice and divide among 4 glasses. If the juice is frothy, strain it through a fine mesh sieve before serving.
