• Kripalu Cashew Cream •

🌿Ayurvedic Insights:

Magnesium is known as nature’s chill pill. The high magnesium content of the cashews helps this sweet treat to balance the nerves of those who feel stressed, agitated, or anxious. 

🌿Makes about 2 cups

  • 1 ⅔ cups cashew pieces

  • ¼ honey

  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract


🌿Directions:

  1. Soak the cashews in water and cover for 8 hours or up to 24 hours. 

  2. Drain and rinse the cashews, then transfer them to a food processor or high-speed blender. Process until the nuts are very finely ground. With the machine running, gradually add the honey, processing until incorporated. Gradually add the vanilla, then just enough water, 3 to 4 tablespoons, to achieve a thick texture similar to sour cream Process until very smooth, 2 to 4 minutes. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 days.
